'My Therapist is a Volcano' is a multidisciplinary performance in the genre of magical realism. A story of heat, multigenerational grief and survival. A dinosaur from the (S)WANA region, who survived and didn’t go extinct, is telling stories from 83 million years ago, about her friends and their lives and struggles to survive. The Dino transformed many times to reject extinction and always kept dancing and insisting on joy. Her therapist is the volcano, she has sessions with the volcano. In this project we are attending one of the therapy sessions.
