ZINEB

The very first time ZINEB came in contact with music was at Moroccan weddings, family gatherings and celebrations. As a little kid, she watched her family dancing to Chaabi and Reggada. She heard the women in her family singing Izran and playing Derbouka. These experiences instilled in her a deep love and appreciation for Moroccan music, which naturally expanded into an interest in North African and West Asian music, often referred to as Arab music.

This musical passion began to evolve further when she started sharing some of her favourite WANA (West Asia and North Africa) music videos on Instagram. This inspired her to delve deeper into these genres. Discovering Amapiano & Deep House she instantly fell in love with these styles and began incorporating them into her sets.

Today, ZINEB mixes a spicy blend of North African and West Asian rhythms, Deep House, Raï, and Amapiano. As a Dutch-born DJ with Amazigh heritage, she brings cultural influences to her music, crafting a unique sound that captivates. Her journey has been about celebrating her roots while exploring new musical territories.
